Dr. Joseph Montalbano

Dr. Joe grew up on a blueberry farm in Hammonton and he’s always enjoyed working with his hands. While in school, he developed a love of science and helping others. He later found dentistry as the perfect field where he could do both.

Where Did You
Study Dentistry?

Dr. Joe attended The College of New Jersey where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He continued his education at Rutgers University, where he earned his Master of Biomedical Science degree, followed by his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. During his fourth year at dental school, he completed a yearlong clinical externship at the University Dental Center in Somerdale. While there, he focused on treating medically compromised patients. Today, he continues to pursue advanced education in cosmetic dentistry and Invisalign. He is currently a member of the following organizations: American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

In his free time, Dr. Joe still has a strong passion for farming. He and his brother started their own organic greenhouse business a few years ago. Fitness, health, and nutrition are big interests, too, as well as spending quality time with friends and family.
